Wedding Specialists

Certain florists specialise in weddings, and the cost for these flowers and services can become exceedingly high. You should ensure you are dealing with the wedding florist directly, and not a party planner or wedding consultant as these will increase your costs greatly.

You should contact your wedding florist well in advance - perhaps 6-12 months if you know your wedding date. This both ensures you are booked into their schedule and so you can have sufficient time to organise any specific types of flowers.

Using flowers of the season (at the time of your wedding) will ensure flower supply and cost you a lot less. Also consider whether you need a wedding florist as opposed to a standard florst - if you don’t intend to have a difficult/extragavent or many flowers at your wedding, you may be paying a lot more for a service you can get at the same quality from your regular florist.
